I support people in growing their Pink Unicorns—working toward something highly desirable yet seemingly unachievable. But what are these Pink Unicorns? Let me introduce you to some of the client situations I typically deal with as a coach.
Here is Pink Unicorn #1. This Pink Unicorn is all about rediscovering oneself, building new habits, and daring to start something that has long been postponed.
Have you ever felt lost, stuck, or unsure of who you truly are? You’re definitely not alone. With so many external voices, jobs constantly being reinvented, and the world growing increasingly complex, it can be hard to stay consistently true to yourself. Defining and nurturing your inner voice requires attention, reflection, and dedication.
But what happens when your newly rediscovered self craves something more? A job that is not only well-paid but meaningful? Starting your own business instead of climbing the corporate ladder? Writing your own book instead of sending thousands of emails? Taking those first steps can feel scary, and moments of uncertainty and doubt are almost inevitable.
So how I support this Pink Unicorn with coaching?
Providing space for your inner voice: I help distill your inner voice from external narratives and support you in discovering what truly matters to you.
Navigating doubts: We filter out relevant concerns from fears and uncertainties. For example, it might take two minutes to write an email that raises important concern, but twenty minutes to overthink how everyone on the CC list will react. Coaching helps bring that closer to two, not twenty-two.
Offering structure and accountability: I help you uncover the next steps methodically, providing support and accountability. I become that helpful (and slightly annoying) voice that ensures everything important has been covered.
In the end, there’s nobody else to care for your Pink Unicorn but you. However, you don’t have to do it alone—it’s always a good idea to seek support where you can. However, if you are in the process of rediscovering yourself and starting something new – you are up for an exciting journey, and your courage and dedication are truly amazing.
